Cruise ship tours

We are now booking for  2015  shore excursions

The best way to guarantee that  you will have a wonderful time on

your ship’s Kirkwall port call is to take a tour with Orkney Aspects.

We will meet you at the quayside and show you the best of our beautiful islands and ensure you return in time for departure.

We offer private tours, so if you book with us you will have our undivided attention. Of course you are free to invite your friends to

join you, up to a maximum of six guests, and some of our guests like

to put together a tour share via sites such as Cruise Critic.

We are skilled at exceeding your expectations, and have many Tripadvisor reviews from satisfied clients:

''Four of us spent a terrific day with Pat Stone. We came in by cruise ship where Pat picked us up. We had arranged a customized itinerary by email which included Neolithic sites, a visit to a craft potter, pub lunch, and some local jewellery shopping. There's not much else to add that hasn't already been said in other reviews...our day with Pat was the highlight of our trip''.

''We just returned from a British Isles cruise. I arranged private excursions in every port, as I have on previous cruises. We have had many excellent guides, but Pat was the best guide I ever had. She was charming with an wonderful personality and sense humor. Her knowledge of the area and of the history of Orkney was incredible. We left the selection of sites to her , and we were certainly not disappointed. She seemed to know everyone on the island. Even with less than perfect weather we had a truly marvelous day''.

''This was the first time we had ever been to Scotland and the Orkney Islands. We were GREATLY impressed. We arranged a tour with Pat Stone and it was the BEST thing we did our whole trip to the British Isles. She kept in touch frequently before our arrival, making sure we liked the sights she had picked out for us to see and to confirm the date and time. She was waiting for us at the cruise pier even though we were there an hour early. We had the best tour we have ever had or probably ever will have. She even took us to a small, family owned restaurant on the island for lunch and it was great. I would recommend Pat to anyone interested in a private tour of the Orkney Islands. What can be better than someone who lives and works there. She was like a walking encyclopedia of Orkney history''.

Kirkwall is a small port so there is always a huge demand for our tours. Please contact us well in advance of your ship's arrival preferably as soon as you have booked your cruise or you may well be disappointed.
